ABOUT OUR PAGES Our pages are handmade to order on high quality parchment paper of 24 lb. weight. The parchment used was selected after many trials and found to be the best choice for this type of collection. It is standard size paper, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, but unlike regular paper ours is archival quality and contains no acid or lignin so that it will persist through time without experiencing fading or degradation. OUR PROCESS We only print on one side of the parchment no matter how many pages you order. Most practitioners will not ever finish their Book of Shadows but will continue adding to it for the remainder of their lives at which point it may pass to future generations and therefore we feel that printing double-sided is too limiting - you will not be able to rearrange your Book as it grows. By providing single sided parchments you will have total control over the arrangement of your Book throughout its life. ABOUT THE GRIMOIRE At The Grimoire our goal is to help you create the Book of Shadows that you have always wanted to have in a cost efficient manner. We find large, ready-made Books to be impersonal and lacking room for expansion as your path goes forward, as well as outside the budget of many Witches. Our vision of the ideal Book of Shadows includes one that is full of illustrations and information. It has all the spells you've ever worked and spells you might want to work in the future. It has room to grow and expand as you grow and expand and continually make updates, changes, and additions to your Book, as well as be cost efficient so everyone who wants to build a Book find themselves able to do so.
